Labour Cares: Spring Care Kit Drive

Join us for a care kit drive


Spring is just around the corner, and we're looking forward to reconnecting with everyone after all the cold weather. We invite you to join us anytime from 10 am - 2 pm on Thursday, April 16, to help put together some personal hygiene care kits, make a product or monetary donation, or come say hi during your break! The proceeds of this spring drive will go toward the Blue Door charity which is a United Way-funded and unionized agency, and the largest emergency housing provider in York Region.

HELP US MAKE 50 CARE KITS FOR BLUE DOOR 

If you would like to help make a monetary donation to go toward us purchasing items for the care kits, please make a cheque to Labour Community Services - 895 Don Mills Rd, Tower 2, Suite 710, North York, ON M3C 1W3, or etransfer to [email protected] with a note saying "for care kits." 

For product donations: we're looking for brand new/unopened packs of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, and menstrual hygiene products (sanitary pads and tampons).
